I've never been one for romance, but this image really captures my imagination. The symbolism and expression is very well done, from the woman's flowing hair and dress to the orc's harsher lines and rough edges. Their faces are genuine and full of emotion. The orc's face in particular is very well done; I imagine it must be difficult to try and capture such a face with such inhuman proportions. The backdrop is beautiful as well, but I may be biased by my own love for Draenor/Outland.
I can only think of two ways to improve this image:
(1) The woman's leg shadows in her dress seem a bit oddly proportioned around the knee area.
(2) I wish the backdrop were as detailed as the characters themselves are.
Yes, I thinkthe orcleaderhadsomething with ahumanmage.(Thesame one thatalsohada romancelaterwith a dragon?) Verystrange stories. However, Imust saythat I havenever playedWoW.(I'mjustafangirlfrom NWN2.)
The wayof your artI find verybeautiful. You're usingintense and beautifulcolors.
The human mage that you speak of has had a romance with several major characters before (not to say that she herself isn't a major character since she is), including Thrall (orc), Kalecgos (dragon), Kael'thas (blood elf), and Arthas (human). She kinda gets around. >.>
I'm not sure it's fair to say she 'gets around'. I am not a huge fan of her character but idea idea of romance with most of those characters was doomed to fail. Even if she was legitimately involved with all four of them, I don't think it could be fairly attributed as any sort of promiscuity.
